Yash’s birth name is Naveen Kumar Gowda.
It took a while for Yash to venture into films. He had to prove himself by acting in teleserials in Kannada. His first teleserial was Nanda Gokula, directed by Ashok Kashyap.
He played a supporting role in director Shashank’s Moggina Manasu for which he won the Best Supporting Actor award.
His first commercial solo hit came in the form of Modalasala, which hit the theatres in 2010.
It is said that Yash and his wife Radhika Pandit met each other at the shooting spot of teleserial Nanda Gokula.
